“People say ballet doesn’t give back and it is thankless. But the older I get the more I realize that couldn’t be further from the truth. Real dancers sacrifice, yes. But only people who haven’t felt the need and passion to dance, call it that. I have traveled the world, danced in the most beautiful theaters, lived in more than one world famous metropolis and worked with true artists from almost every genre. I’ve had masters of their craft create works of art, masterpieces, on me, using my body as their medium. My job is to help make their art come to life. That is a privilege, not a sacrifice. ”
